Limited flight-test data obtained from an automatically controlled interceptor during runs in which oscillatory rolling motions were encountered have been correlated with the pilot's comments regarding his ability to tolerate the imposed lateral accelerations. The results of this acceleration was about plus or minus 0.4 to plus or minus 0.5 g, measured at the pilot's head in the frequency range from 4 to 9 radians per second.
