‘The Unprized’- the title itself reflects the purpose of this very special book. In this book, you will find beautiful poems, meaningful open letters, and powerful articles. This anthology is an attempt to provide a literary outlet for a spectrum of women writers to appreciate the women in their life. The writers were free to interpret the theme as they wished to, which has led to an amalgamation of inspiring and wholesome tales. From friends and family to famous personalities and sometimes even strangers, the women in our lives can have a huge impact on us. This was a chance for the community of women writers to reflect back and “appreciate the unseen”. It was a great opportunity to create a book with women writers from all around India and other countries. The compilers, Ananya Verma and Sarah Jackson really hope that this book sparks a chain of gratitude and appreciation in the minds of the reader.

In compiling her Collected Poems, Kathleen Raine drew from six decades of poetry to decide the canon by which she wished to be judged and remembered. The result was this definitive edition, now published by Faber & Faber, which on first release in 2001 was welcomed both by Raine's admirers and by those newly discovering a poet who has unfailingly given voice to a vision of life in which the temporal, in all its modes and places, is imbued with the numinous and the eternal.

Paradigms Regained is James L Battersby's effort to reclaim for literary study certain legitimate territories that have been needlessly abandoned on the theoretical battlefield. Despite assertions to the contrary by poststructuralist or new historicist critics, Battersby contends, it is still possible to talk intelligently, rigorously, and usefully about such issues as literary intentionality, stable references, determinate meaning, and objective value judgments of literary works. What enables Battersby to make his argument is his reliance not on continental thought but on Anglo-American analytic and pragmatic philosophers, including Donald Davidson, Michael Dummett, Nelson Goodman, Hilary Putnam, John Searle, and Israel Scheffler. Battersby synthesizes and builds on their work in a way that is at once fresh and distinctive.
