The sun had set, and the shadows were deepening in the big barn. Mrs. Burnett's children are very real and attractive beings. Forlorn little Meg and Robin, whose Illinois home is ruled by an aunt, not actively unkind, but merely -advanced- beyond maternal sympathy and affection to an intimate and practical acquaintance with all matters agricultural, have caught some echoes from the enthusiasm of the founders of the Great White City
