An updated approach for working with the Triple Goddess in modern times The Triple Goddess has three facets: the maiden, the mother, and the crone. The Triple Goddess represents many things such as birth, life, death and the phases of the moon, waxing, full and waning. Whilst in the form we recognise it may well be a modern idea, it still gives a wonderful way of working with the goddess and her phases, to help us evolve and understand our own pathway through life and this journey can help you to embrace your own personal power.
Keira soon finds herself becoming a pawn in a game she could never hope to win, and now the King on the board is a Vampire on a mission. With the only man able to stop him miles away from the mountain prison in which she is kept, she must now choose which path to take in order to survive. With enemies at all sides closing in quick, she must tread carefully, or she might find the man to save her isn't the White Knight she loves... but the Dark King she loathes. Time with the Vampire King is dangerous, and Keira soon learns that it is more than just the power of her mind she needs to keep locked but also the power of her heart... And Lucius might just hold the key to both.
The White Goddess is perhaps the finest of Robert Graves's works on the psychological and mythological sources of poetry. In this tapestry of poetic and religious scholarship, Graves explores the stories behind the earliest of European deities—the White Goddess of Birth, Love, and Death—who was worshipped under countless titles. He also uncovers the obscure and mysterious power of "pure poetry" and its peculiar and mythic language.
The authors draw from a wide range of sources, bringing together historical research which provides insights into the magical and religious practices associated with the Goddess Hekate. In doing so they provide an indispensable guide for those wishing to explore the mysteries of Hekate today.
From the New York Times bestselling author of Blue Bloods and Witches of East End After they cause a terrible accident at their old high school, twin witches Mardi and Molly Overbrook are sent to live with their “Aunt” Ingrid Beauchamp in North Hampton, on Long Island’s mist-shrouded East End. Because the twins cannot control their powers, their father begs Ingrid to tame them over the summer, before the White Council exiles the girls to Limbo. Trouble continues to bubble and boil when the girls meet the younger Gardiner boys, who are just as handsome and sexy as their older kin. But all is not as it seems. As Ingrid helps the girls learn to control their magical impulses, Mardi and Molly have just this summer to figure out how to grow up, how to love, and how to be a family.
I used to think I couldn't possibly be a demigoddess. Then again, I didn't used to have glowing magical tattoos. So far I've claimed two of the Morrígna talismans and been branded with two new magical runes in return. There's no doubt that my powers are growing stronger, as well as merging with Cassie's and Autumn's. Still, while we've won a few battles, the dark goddesses sure seem to be winning the war. The only thing left to do at this point is to evacuate what's left of the witch community to secure locations. The problem being that those locations seem a whole lot less secure when the dark goddesses attack one, take hostages, and deliver an ultimatum. Namely, that I either turn myself in or those hostages start dying. So when our necromancer friend announces that he may know where to find the third talisman, that should come as good news. Especially since his plan also seems to make perfect sense. Except it's by far the riskiest plan we've hatched yet. And that's definitely saying something, considering we've faced demons, vampires, a wendigo, a fae sea monster and fae zombies. But we either find that third talisman and summon the Triple Goddess or the dark goddesses open the floodgate between our realm and theirs. Once they do, my dreams of going back to a normal life will be over. So will be my life, for that matter. But, hey, at least I'll have the rest of the human race for company. Why don't I find that comforting? Oh, I know. Because we'll all be dead.

'Gloria' is the third part of the "long story" of 'The Triple Goddess [a simply divine comedy]', the first and second being 'Ophelia' and 'Arbella'. Although the three books comprising 'The Triple Goddess' have separate plots, they share themes of Hell, Purgatory and Paradise, good and evil, love, ancient myth and history, life-death-rebirth, and the nature (or un-nature) of Time. The tales are filled with magic and fantastical invention, and "stories within the story" in the manner of 'The Arabian Nights'. The year is 2032 A.D., and the worldwide State is in the grip of a faceless oligarchy, Central. Hugo Bonvillain 4285D is the young prodigy Director of the Exeat Institute, where he experiments upon Slaves of the S Class in an attempt to extract from their un-biologically adulterated bodies the secret to eternal life. Bonvillain's obsessive work ethic is leavened only by his dreams of the mysterious and mesmerizing Gloria Mundy 2042M, Ward One's nursing Sister...
