It is as unjust as to say, that all the Clergy ofthe Established Church aie Arlans and Socinians, because some of their brethren have published books in that strain. The Orthodox among us, must allow their brethren the same l1berty which they enjoy themselves, whatever use they make of 1t; and for that they are answerable to God and not to men. The unhappy differences among us, and some of them relating to subjects of the last importance in religion, is not a case peculiar to us. But 1t is common to all the denominations ofchristians in this kingdom. Uniformity of sentiments will never prevail in a land ofhberty.
