The couple have ve wonderful children ranging in ages from 8-23. She is extremely proud to have been a stay at home mom for most of her children's young lives. Yvette has volunteered at her children's schools, dedicating many hours both to the classroom and extra curriculum programs. Currently, Yvette substitute teaches at San Antonio Independent School District. She thoroughly enjoys her position and feels really blessed to work with such a diverse group of children. Her young daughter, Teresa, inspired the initial idea for Squiggly Wiggly Lines; however, after working with students inside the classroom, Yvette found the encouragement to publish this inventive activity book for all ages.
