DOWNLOAD EBOOKIn the present day, there are two problems that deter democracy from being able to rear its head in theestablishment of our Republic. The first of these is voter knowledge. While voters are very aware of whether theylean left or right, blue or red, Democratic or Republican, they are very unaware of who they are choosing to betheir representative. There is a lack of attention devoted to the personal views of the candidate, the qualificationsof the candidate, and the moral character of the candidate, each of which are crucial contributors to the successthat individual will have as a leader. The second problem lies in representation. Although it has been an exhaustedterm in the government, representation is not solely restricted to ethnicity, color, race, religion, or similar factors. Infact, the least represented demographic in politics today is the youth. The upcoming generations are highlycapable, are advocating intensely, but are silenced and overridden in the White House. To achieve an ideal government that is capable of implementing policy that is effective for decades to come, experience and innovation, those with years and those with fresh enthusiasm must come together. The red and the blue must mesh to create a true United States of America: the Purple Wave.
