DOWNLOAD EBOOKDiscover the 3x3 meditation technique that can turn your life around in this “raw, compelling and deeply inspiring” self-help memoir (Jack Canfield, coauthor of Chicken Soup for the Soul). Many know that thoughts and emotions affect the physical body—but how can you use this knowledge most effectively? Dina Proctor developed the 3x3 meditation technique during her own struggle with suicidal depression and addiction. As a certified life coach, she shares it with her clients. Now, she shares it with readers everywhere. In this book, Proctor recounts her raw, real experience and the 3x3 meditation technique that has been the key to her physical, mental, and emotional healing—leading to better regulation of blood sugar and cholesterol, weight loss, and even improved relationships. The key is not spending hours on end in meditation or visualization practice, but to engage multiple times per day in shorter bursts, to consistently interrupt old thought patterns and negative thinking. If you can spare nine minutes a day, you too can experience its powerful benefits—and in addition to the author’s riveting story of recovery, Madly Chasing Peace provides concrete steps to get you started.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKEarly in the morning of 4 March 2015, a fierce knock at the door heralded the start of a new chapter in Harvey Proctor's almost continuous relationship with the police and media, when officers from the Metropolitan Police raided his home in connection with Operation Midland, Scotland Yard's investigation into allegations of a historic Westminster paedophile ring. In Credible and True - words famously used by the police to describe the allegations of Proctor's traducer - the former Conservative MP talks frankly about his life in and out of Parliament, from the struggles and controversy surrounding his resignation in 1987 to the numerous homophobic attacks endured since - one of which, revealed here in horrific detail for the first time, was a very nearly successful attempt on his life. Finally, he speaks candidly about his most recent embroilment in Operation Midland, of being the victim of a 'homosexual witch-hunt' that has all but destroyed his reputation, adding to the topical debate about police lack of due process in the post-Savile world of 'guilty until proven innocent'.

DOWNLOAD EBOOK“Daddy...Daddy...” Missy tugged at her father’s sleeve trying to get his attention. “When are we going to see his head chopped off?” “Just be patient, sweetheart... The show will start very soon.” Reluctantly she settled back, legs impatiently swinging over the edge of the seat as she waited for the curtain to rise on the third elaborately staged execution extravaganza staged this year in the Cavernium. The audience of more than 20,000 was a strange mixture of the wealthy dregs, each having paid $2,000 per ticket. The tension was palpable, the thrum of anticipation filling the gargantuan space. Backstage, dancers, actors, technicians and assistants flittered and fretted in nervous circles of frenzy. On stage, a guillotine, designed as a surreal monolith, an impressionist construct hinting at death, horror, terror and the balancing forces of justice, community and security. The United States is no more. It is now the United Nation of Communities where geographic regions called Proctorates are each controlled and governed by Community Security Command, CommSec, headed by a Proctor. This is the story of the Midlant Proctorate, its Proctor Gelman Filias, and the struggle of the FLF, the Franklin Liberation Force, to destroy the tightening yoke of CommSec security demanded by the sheeple, those living in GateComms, gated communities, willing to sacrifice their freedoms to preserve their protected enclaves. The choices demanded by some of those involved include: Feldon Murphy who built a Ground Zero obelisk at the bottom of the shallow crater marking the spot on which Calia his wife had been vaporized by a tactical nuke, decided to also build FLF safe bunkers under his Pine Barrens Fish ponds. Delia Sleng who gave up being a GateComm snitch for CommSec to lead a group of armed housewives on a raid on their Detention & Interrogation facility to free their husbands. Captin Ralen Krause who chose to desert CommSec after learning his gay brother was responsible for gassing 31 people at a retirement party. Sulky, owner and opertor of Sulky’s Palace of Pleasure, opens an on-site hospital for those wounded in the rebellion, converts her hedonistic paradise into Sulky’s Funporium, a family vacation spot and amusement park, finally revealing her true identity to her father. Professor of Physics Asad Abbas who began designing customized explosives after his daughter, sodomized by prison guards, commits suicide. Mangiss Electro, the bearded Harley Hog rider drag queen, who rescued his friend, Gates Abonei, from a CommSec squad seeking revenge. Harri YoungSmith, head of the Franklin Liberation Force who chooses to ally himself with his greatest enemy in order to acheive a common goal. And Gelman Filias, who long before becoming the Midlantic Proctor, fell deeply in love with Keela, the free spirit who believed in the dream of an America reinvigorated by the independent spirit of the colonial dream. The depth of her commitment to those beliefs and her fierce strength of spirit enthralled and captivated him. Years after she was killed in a demonstration, and after becoming Proctor, her sister passes Keela’s last message on to him: “Drive the flock of sheep hard enough to find those with the heart of a wolf.” Inspired by this he makes a covenant that, if executed, will destroy the Proctorate, gambling on the independent citizenry to hit the reset button on a path to the country’s new destiny.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKWhen Hitler published Mein Kampf in 1924, he held up a foreign law as a model for his program of racial purification: The U.S. Immigration Restriction Act of 1924, which prohibited the immigration of those with hereditary illnesses and entire ethnic groups. When the Nazis took power in 1933, they installed a program of eugenics--the attempted "improvement" of the population through forced sterilization and marriage controls--that consciously drew on the U.S. example. By then, many American states had long had compulsory sterilization laws for "defectives," upheld by the Supreme Court in 1927. Small wonder that the Nazi laws led one eugenics activist in Virginia to complain, "The Germans are beating us at our own game." In The Nazi Connection, Stefan Kühl uncovers the ties between the American eugenics movement and the Nazi program of racial hygiene, showing that many American scientists actively supported Hitler's policies. After introducing us to the recently resurgent problem of scientific racism, Kühl carefully recounts the history of the eugenics movement, both in the United States and internationally, demonstrating how widely the idea of sterilization as a genetic control had become accepted by the early twentieth century. From the first, the American eugenicists led the way with radical ideas. Their influence led to sterilization laws in dozens of states--laws which were studied, and praised, by the German racial hygienists. With the rise of Hitler, the Germans enacted compulsory sterilization laws partly based on the U.S. experience, and American eugenists took pride in their influence on Nazi policies. Kühl recreates astonishing scenes of American eugenicists travelling to Germany to study the new laws, publishing scholarly articles lionizing the Nazi eugenics program, and proudly comparing personal notes from Hitler thanking them for their books. Even after the outbreak of war, he writes, the American eugenicists frowned upon Hitler's totalitarian government, but not his sterilization laws. So deep was the failure to recognize the connection between eugenics and Hitler's genocidal policies, that a prominent liberal Jewish eugenicist who had been forced to flee Germany found it fit to grumble that the Nazis "took over our entire plan of eugenic measures." By 1945, when the murderous nature of the Nazi government was made perfectly clear, the American eugenicists sought to downplay the close connections between themselves and the German program. Some of them, in fact, had sought to distance themselves from Hitler even before the war. But Stefan Kühl's deeply documented book provides a devastating indictment of the influence--and aid--provided by American scientists for the most comprehensive attempt to enforce racial purity in world history.
