After Charles was filled with the Holy Spirit he had his first vision about the horrors facing unbelievers. In response, and fearing for his family, he began to soak up the Word of God ‘like a sponge’ under the instruction of amazingly dedicated Bible teachers, over a period of more than 40 years, which is reflected in this book. He is very concerned about complacent Christians presumptuously resting on God’s mercy and benefits unaware that God’s promises are always conditional depending on repentance. He became particularly interested in end-times, in the unity promised by Jesus in John 17 and in the prophetic days of the creation. God has given him the gift of interpreting the symbolism, used in the prophetic scriptures, which he hopes readers will appreciate. The prophetic elements in the life of Samson and the Temple of Solomon, elaborated in this book, will be new to the church.

The impact of The Late Great Planet Earth cannot be overstated. The New York Times called it the "no. 1 non-fiction bestseller of the decade." For Christians and non-Christians of the 1970s, Hal Lindsey's blockbuster served as a wake-up call on events soon to come and events already unfolding -- all leading up to the greatest event of all: the return of Jesus Christ. The years since have confirmed Lindsey's insights into what biblical prophecy says about the times we live in. Whether you're a church-going believer or someone who wouldn't darken the door of a Christian institution, the Bible has much to tell you about the imminent future of this planet. In the midst of an out-of-control generation, it reveals a grand design that's unfolding exactly according to plan. The rebirth of Israel. The threat of war in the Middle East. An increase in natural catastrophes. The revival of Satanism and witchcraft. These and other signs, foreseen by prophets from Moses to Jesus, portend the coming of an antichrist . . . of a war which will bring humanity to the brink of destruction . . . and of incredible deliverance for a desperate, dying planet.

The end of the world is coming. From roadside signs to science fiction films, this slogan underscores our society’s nervous fascination with the future. Whether it’s a giant asteroid, a worldwide plague, or some other global catastrophe, the end of the world is a terrifying prospect—at least for those who have no idea what it will be like. For Christians, however, the end of the world should be anything but dreadful. In fact, it should be something we actually look forward to. Why? Because God has told us how the world will end. And He has assured us that the end of this age will mark the beginning of a new, glorious one in which we will serve and worship Him in sinless perfection. Our eternal hope, as believers, is intimately tied to the end of this world. All of this is laid out in the book of Revelation. Not only is Revelation the inspired Word of God, it is also the only New Testament book that includes a promised spiritual blessing for those who study and apply its message. As such, it is an essential part of every Christian’s devotional life. Those who ignore Revelation deprive themselves of a rich treasure of divine truth, and the promised blessings that come from understanding that truth. Join John MacArthur as he explains the book of Revelation in a way that is both doctrinally precise and intensely practical.

For hundreds of years, immigrants have been coming to America to gain greater freedom and to realize their dreams. Author Tatiana Lysenko is one of them. In The Price of Freedom, she provides a fictionalized account of her life story, recalling her childhood and youth, her successes and failures, and the eventual asylum she gained in the United States. Through the eyes of Slava, this narrative provides a look at a woman who considers herself a true Ukrainian, but with new views on the modern world that are not understood in the post-Communist society. She is suffocating in the society where she was born and seeks to find a new home where there is no persecution, where there would be no fear for the future and no bribery or corruption-a place where people live full lives rather than merely surviving. Slava discusses the Ukrainian history, culture, and customs, while sharing how these not only shaped her life but affected her present and her future.

Counting the Days to Armageddon is work is of vital importance for all concerned with the Jehovah's Witness movement. It provides a thorough examination of their eschatological development, treating Watch Tower theology objectively but sympathetically. Crompton also speculates about the future direction of Jehovah's Witness teaching. The book begins with a brief consideration of the biblical foundations of doctrines of the last days, particularly the books of Daniel and Revelation. There follows an outline summary of some of the main aspects of the history of this doctrine within the Protestant mainstream during the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries, and an outline of the Adventist teaching of William Miller (1782-1849) in the U.S.A. During the time following the failure of Miller's expectations of the end of the world, his ideas were developed by Charles Taze Russell (1852-1916), prime mover of the Watch Tower movement. Counting the Days to Armageddon explores the way in which Russell amended Miller's ideas, and also the distinctive way in which he handled the Dispensational categorisation of history of John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) to create an extension of historicist speculation on the application of prophecy to the modern world. The response of the Watch Tower movement to the failure of Russell's expectations in 1914 is explored, and the new body of doctrine which has replaced Russell's is examined. The ways in which these doctrines have been modified in the past suggest ways in which future doctrine may develop, especially in response to the protracted delay of Armageddon. What is envisaged, in the light of the history of Watch Tower doctrine, is no dramatic collapse of the movement but rather an increasing emphasis upon other, less vulnerable areas of doctrine together with a greater turnover of membership which may, in due course, undermine the movement's stability.

The Vision of Numbers 1, 7, and the Star of David is a revelation of the heart of God for all humanity. The revelation gives a biblical account of the history of Israel and the call of Abraham by God, to father a new nation. The land was covenanted to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob by God as an everlasting inheritance to his "Seed." Through Abraham's son, Jacob, the "Seed," of the woman of Genesis 3:15 would be born. The "Seed," Jesus Christ would be a blessing both spiritually and physically to all humanity, He would bring redemption to all people. The revelation gives deep insight into the Passover and the Exodus from Egypt and introduces the seven Feasts of the Lord which outlines God's Eternal Plan for all humanity, from chaos to eternity. The revelation focuses on Israel; God's chosen people and Time piece in the earth and points to why Israel is the most hotly contested piece of land in the earth. The reason for the conflicts in the Middle East today and why Jerusalem, Israel's Capital City is the most fought-over piece of real estate in the world. Jerusalem has been sought after by all major religions Jews, Muslims and Christians for thousands and thousands of years. God was espoused to Israel and she became his wife. She was unfaithful to Him and had to be punished for her disobedience, idolatry and unfaithfulness to God; therefore, she was uprooted from the land of promise and dispersed to many nations of the world. After two thousand years Israel is back in the land and became a nation on May 14th 1948, fulfilling "The Fig Tree Prophecy," which ushers in the time, the bible calls the "Last Days," or the "time of Jacob's trouble." Therefore, the revelation points to our soon coming King - Jesus Christ. "He is near, even at the door." He will reign in The Capital City, Jerusalem, it is God's resting place for all eternity. It is the Lord's inheritance; where He will reign in Majesty. It is in this future City that all believers of the House that Christ is building will live and reign with Him. Our home, the New Jerusalem will descend from heaven to this great land and Christ will reign with both Jews and Gentiles in that City forever and ever. It is God's will for all people from every nation, country, tribe and culture to be saved; this is God's heart for all people and humanity's only hope - salvation in Jesus Christ. Deuteronomy 4:6 Says: "Hear O Israel: The Lord our God the Lord is one."
