Ontological mathematics is the rational core of Hyperianism. It's the science of the future that proves the shocking truth that the world is not material but a collective dream, that so-called "matter" is an illusion, and the ultimate reality is a domain of pure mind. This is not a belief but a deductive, mathematical certainty. Ontological Mathematics was originally leaked to the public via a controversial hidden society operating under various pseudonyms. Since then, it has taken the world by storm. Ontological mathematics isn't any one person's idea. It's a new way of thinking that is championed by the greatest thinkers of the age. Nearly 100 books have been written about it by various authors and independent ontological mathematics research groups are appearing around the world. Ontological mathematics and Hyperianism is a global phenomenon. We have made the groundbreaking knowledge of our system available to all by introducing the reader to the foundational concepts of ontological mathematics in an accessible way. This text assumes the reader has only minimal philosophical knowledge, and it is written in such a way that anyone can begin learning the mathematics of our system.Imagine living in a time and place where the Earth is believed to be flat and humans created by a god. Now imagine you discover a book containing many astounding facts of science such as the spheroidal shape of the Earth and evolution. How exciting would that be? As you read the book, your entire perspective of reality would change. Your world would never be the same. This is such a book. You currently exist in a time and place where existence is viewed as material. This book reveals that the world is in fact a shared dream. Ontological mathematics is the study of the mathematical wave nature of existence. This is not a reality of matter, rather, it's a reality mind, of thought. And what is thought? Thoughts are mathematical sinusoidal waves. So ontological mathematics is the study of the mathematical waveforms of mind that make up all of existence and your very being. The spacetime world isn't a material reality at all. It's the Holos, which is a mathematical Fourier projection from a frequency singularity known as the Source. When properly understood and integrated, the information within this text will change your existence forever and elevate you to a new level of consciousness. This is the science of the future that one day soon will be taught in every school throughout the world. You are a Mind. Existence is Thought. The World is a Dream. The Science of the Future is Here.

This book reflects on the ways in which metaphor and metonymy are used conceptually and linguistically to mitigate the more difficult dimensions of death and dying, setting out a unique line of research within Conceptual Metaphor Theory.// The volume argues that metaphor and metonymic descriptions of death and dying reflect taboos, concealment, and other considerations not found in figurative descriptions of life, producing distinct forms of euphemism, frames, and mental spaces particular to conceptualisations of death. The first part focuses on the more palatable concepts which metaphorically structure and help to better understand death. The second section takes a closer look at metonymy to illuminate the ways in which it allows a person to zoom in on death’s more inoffensive dimensions or zoom out on its more troubling aspects. A wide range of classical and modern examples from European, Asian, Australian Aboriginal, and African languages and cultures showcase points of overlap and divergence. // Opening up new lines of inquiry into research on death and dying and offering a linguistically-focused complement to anthropological and religious studies on the topic, this book will be of interest to scholars in cognitive linguistics, sociolinguistics, cross-cultural communication, and cultural studies.

Literary Nonfiction. LGBTQIA Studies. Edited by Clare Kelly. one part ketamine spiral, one part confessional travelogue from the edge of gender, TGSM is a hallucinatory transmission on sex, identity, the internet, and the flickering wish not to exist in a given body at a given point in time. TGSM raises questions with which we have begun to negotiate broadly as a culture: what is actually happening to someone when they transition? how should we understand or describe such processes? what is the role of drugs, of hallucination, of imagination, in transition? is being a trans person in this moment in history--when the identity is ever more carefully traced [and tracked] by larger cultural forces--more liberated than before? drawing its source material from chance encounters--wordless interactions in basements or bathrooms or hotel rooms--to archives of 20th century critical theory, sleepover secrets exchanged between old friends, rhetorical barbs deployed in the classrooms of elite universities, arguments on the phone with your parents across timezones, the nonverbal codes of high and low fashion, and scribbled notes on the backs of receipts for medicines you don't know how they work, TGSM is a morbid yet strangely hopeful meditation on the possibilities and meanings of gender variation in our time.

The Business of Martyrdom is the only comprehensive history of suicide bombing from its origins in Imperial Russia to the present day. It makes use of a framework from the history and philosophy of technology to explain the diffusion and evolution of suicide bombing over the past several decades. It is primarily a work of synthesis meant to reach a broad audience and endeavors to integrate as much of the recent scholarly literature as possible, including reconciling explanatory mechanisms that seem to be at odds with one another. In addition, this book is able to draw on very recent changes in suicide bombing in the years 2008-2010 that allow it to have a slightly different perspective than earlier studies. For the first time the global number of suicide attacks has declined significantly for three years in a row. This book therefore has the advantage of addressing the phenomenon of suicide bombing as a bounded phenomenon with limits to its growth and diffusion. To this point the impression that suicide bombers are the smartest bombs yet created has been widespread but confined to the area of metaphor. Drawing well-established ideas from the history of technology, The Business of Martyrdom argues that the metaphor should be taken literally. Suicide bombing is a technology that has been invented and re-invented at different times in different areas but always for the same purpose: resolving a mismatch in military capabilities between antagonists by utilizing the available cultural and human resources. Over the past several years, analysts have produced a large number of monographs and articles examining suicide bombing. The best contributions in this new and growing literature have shed considerable light on the complexity of suicide bombing in practice, particularly regarding the structure of the organizations that deploy suicide bombers and the relationships between these organizations and the recruits whom they utilize in their attacks. Nevertheless, nagging inconsistencies and questions remain. These inconsistencies can be explained by examining suicide bombing as a technological system that integrates human beings, cultures, and devices and directs them toward specific ends. Such an analysis requires that neither the individual bombers nor their sponsoring organizations be the basic unit of discussion. Instead, the bombers must be understood as components within a much larger system that has been shaped by a host of social, cultural, and operational constraints throughout its existence. Integrating insights from the historical analysis of other technological systems with the recent literature specifically devoted to suicide bombing therefore allows The Business of Martyrdom to develop a fuller understanding of suicide bombing as a unified yet diverse phenomenon.

This book is an exceptionally critical and insightful contribution to the scholarly discourse of suicidology. The book offers in-depth analyses of the conceptual evolution and various perspectives of suicide; a very detailed mapping of the conceptualisation of the critical idiom of ‘Text’; explication of the theoretical contributions of Barthes, Derrida, Foucault and others; and analyses of suicides of immortalised characters, forgotten writers, and the culturally devoiced. The book locates the notion of ‘Text’ in a range of literary and cultural theories, from New Criticism to New Historicism, and explores the methodology of analysing enigmatic suicides as ‘Texts’ in and of themselves.

First published in 1993, The Virgin Suicides announced the arrival of a major new American novelist. In a quiet suburb of Detroit, the five Lisbon sisters—beautiful, eccentric, and obsessively watched by the neighborhood boys—commit suicide one by one over the course of a single year. As the boys observe them from afar, transfixed, they piece together the mystery of the family’s fatal melancholy, in this hypnotic and unforgettable novel of adolescent love, disquiet, and death. Jeffrey Eugenides evokes the emotions of youth with haunting sensitivity and dark humor and creates a coming-of-age story unlike any of our time. Adapted into a critically acclaimed film by Sofia Coppola, The Virgin Suicides is a modern classic, a lyrical and timeless tale of sex and suicide that transforms and mythologizes suburban middle-American life.
