This is a very unusual collection for Wodehouse. The stories in The Man With Two Left Feet are very unlike his usual style. Most take place in New York, one is told from the first person perspective of a woman, and one is even told from the point of view of a dog. However, every one has the classic humor and expectedly unexpected happy ending that Wodehouse is known for, and each is a delightful read. As usual, Wodehouse will keeo you smiling throughout even with only a brief visit from our old friend Bertie. Man with two left feet is a delightful book. People have been raving about Wodehouse for a long time and if you have enjoyed watching Jeeves and Wooster this could well be your first venture beyond Jeeves. This book is a compilation of fourteen short, amusing and sometime poignant stories. It is very easy reading BUT cleverly written. A favorite in this book is actually not The Man with Two Left Feet but rather At Geisenheimers.

The Man with Two Left Feet, and Other Stories is a collection of short stories by British author P. G. Wodehouse, first published in the UK on 8 March 1917This collection of short stories is a good example of early Wodehouse. It is here that Jeeves makes his first appearance with these unremarkable words: "Mrs. Gregson to see you, sir." Years later, when Jeeves became a household name, Wodehouse said he blushed to think of the off-hand way he had treated the man at their first encounter...In the story "Extricating Young Gussie," we find Bertie Wooster's redoubtable Aunt Agatha "who had an eye like a man-eating fish and had got amoral suasion down to a fine point." The other stories are also fine vintage Wodehouse: the romance between a lovely girl and a would-be playwright, the rivalry between the ugly policeman and Alf the romeo milkman, and the plight of Henry in the title piece, The Man with Two Left Feet, who fell in love with a dance hostess.

The Man With Two Left Feet And Other Stories by P. G. Wodehouse A miscellaneous collection mostly of stories concerning relationships, sports and household pets. It does not feature any of Wodehouse's regular characters; one however, "Extricating Young Gussie," is remarkable as the first appearance of some of Wodehouse's most well-known and beloved characters, Jeeves and his master Bertie Wooster (although here Bertie's surname appears to be Mannering-Phipps, and Jeeves' role is very small), along with Bertie's fearsome Aunt Agatha. This book is formatted with LARGE fonts for your convenience.Enjoy your reading."Students of the folk-lore of the United States of America are no doubt familiar with the quaint old story of Clarence MacFadden. Clarence MacFadden, it seems, was 'wishful to dance, but his feet wasn't gaited that way. So he sought a professor and asked him his price, and said he was willing to pay. The professor' (the legend goes on) 'looked down with alarm at his feet and marked their enormous expanse; and he tacked on a five to his regular price for teaching MacFadden to dance.'"
