DOWNLOAD EBOOKExcerpt from The Geology and Mineral Resources of a Portion of the Copper River District, Alaska The geological observations were necessarily confined to the vicinity of the routes traveled, and while far from complete, they are sufficient to reveal the main geological features of the region traversed. The compilation of the geological notes and the drawing of the geological map has been the joint work of the two authors. But the form of the report and the manner of presentation of the data has fallen upon the junior author, because Mr. Schrader was obliged to devote much of his time while in the office to the perfection of plans for explorations in northern Alaska, and left for the field in February.
