First published in 1874, “The Extant Odes of Pindar” contains a complete collection of all known odes written by Ancient Greek lyric poet Pindar. Pindar numbers amongst the nine canonical lyric poets of ancient Greece. Relatively well-preserved, his odes convey the values and beliefs of Ancient Greece at the beginning of the classical period.
