Halfway between a surreal fairy tale and the classic comedy of errors, the “true” story of C., a seventeen-year-old girl who woke up one morning divided into two people. Recurring events and situations, intertwining between small twists, marked page after page by an ironic and fast rhythm. Like that each C. comes to life, splitting in turn into unlimited combinations, each apt to seek completeness without knowing how to renounce her own characteristic choices. A post-modern version of the fable of infinite plurality of worlds.

If you don't know exactly where you are heading, how can you expect to get there? Without a clearly defined goal, your life can quickly become a series of frustrating stop-and-go actions. Or you might get stuck with a choice that has never been yours in the first place - someone else made a decision for you and now you tow the line. Neither is a pleasant way to live. The good news is that no matter how long you have been looking for a worthwhile goal, no matter how young or old, rich or poor you are, you can find the best goal for your professional and/or private life. In 'From Confusion to Clarity: 5 Steps to Add Direction, Satisfaction, and Meaning to Your Life' author Katalin Halom provides you with an easy-to-follow and foolproof method for ending your frustration and finding the one objective that truly pleases you - the one goal that reflects your strengths. The book describes the 'Five Stages' everyone who wants to head into a self-chosen direction must follow. With the help of practical exercises you'll move step-by-step from a lack of direction toward your final destination - a fulfilling, exciting, and meaningful goal. Countless examples of real people who have faced problems similar to yours illustrate each step you have to take in your goal-finding quest. Their examples show that you are not alone in being lost or confused about what to do with your life, and that you will end the cycle of indecision if you really want to. (Two case studies are about two highly creative and wonderful Australians!) Halom also describes the most insidious obstacles along the way to goal finding and goal achievement, and shows you how to avoid or eliminate all of them. Examples of people who dreamed big and made bold decisions reinforce the basic tenet of this practical book: By thoroughly completing all the exercises as described, you can consciously choose your professional and private path - and live a life of happiness and fulfillment.

Kathy M. Howard has again charmed her readers with a story of intrigue and suspense. You will become Charlotte's greatest cheerleader as she struggles through her journey to recovery. Linda Gilden, author, writing coach, conference director, and avid reader What am I going to do, God? Who am I? Charlotte Hallaway needs to come to terms with her father's death. He had been her only family, and she wasn't handling her grief well. It was just supposed to be a few weeks of peace and quiet to process it all, but then she saw them-a drug deal and a murder within seconds of each other. And they saw her. Now running for her life, Charlotte boards a bus to escape her pursuers and wakes up the next morning in the woods of Jennings, Georgia, without a memory of how she got there or of who she is. All she knows is an underlying fear she can't seem to shake. When two hunters find her battered and scared, can she put aside the clear confusion she's experiencing to trust them? She wants to trust them, especially Nicholas, but fear is holding her back. Trust is incredibly hard when one is so clearly confused. Could it be he and his friend are not who they claim to be? Who are they really . . . and who is she? Additional Endorsements: Kathy has a God-given gift for writing. She skillfully uses it here in a story that will have you hooked from the first page. I'd use the same two words to describe this book as I would to describe its author: Quality and Substance. P.S. I m buying this for all my friends. Jackson Bailey, Bean and Bailey Comedy Duo and inspirational speaker Be prepared to stay up all night with Kathy M. Howard. Once again, she's captured the curiosity in all of us by her talented use of pacing, suspense, and realistic characters that you connect with right away. Everyone has mistaken one thing for another, such as a stranger for an acquaintance. A person who has mistaken two things, Joseph L. Camp argues, even on a massive scale, is still capable of logical thought. In order to make that idea precise, one needs a logic of confused thought that is blind to the distinction between the objects that have been confused. Confused thought and language cannot be characterized as true or false even though reasoning conducted in such language can be classified as valid or invalid. To the extent that philosophers have addressed this issue at all, they take it for granted that confusion is a kind of ambiguity. Camp rejects this notion; his fundamental claim is that confusion is not a mental state. To attribute confusion to someone is to take up a paternalistic stance in evaluating his reasoning. Camp proposes a novel characterization of confusion, and then demonstrates its fruitfulness with several applications in the history of philosophy and the history of science.
