Regardless of where thisphrase is mentioned, the definition never changes.Not only will this book reveal this definition, but it will alsoreveal that two Abominations of Desolation have alreadyoccurred, and the third and final Abomination is soon to come.
The Abomination of Desolation begins the 70 weeks of Daniel. Daniel reads the king’s vision and warns him of his kingdom being taken from him. Mystery Babylon your time has come! You have turned from The Living God and He calls you out. Man needs to turn back To God. The Voice of The Bridegroom, the seed of David, warns mankind of their chosen future. God’s Choose. for mankind, not mans. We see how evil the world has gotten under man’s choice. Now begins The Enlightenment of Man, now begins The Latter Days. Fear God, for he that fears God shall come forth of them all.

Rev. Martins original plan was to preach through the Gospel of Matthew word by word, verse by verse; and to do so from a new, fresh translation from the original language. Preaching through the Gospel, with all of its references to other books of the Bible, and in its own history, is an ideal way for a preacher to give his people a thorough understanding of the inspired Scripture. It wasnt long before the idea of a huge sermonic commentary came up. And then came the idea of some interim books. This book is the fourth (and maybe the last) in the interim series. What will eventually come to pass, Lord willing, is a 3500 page commentary, with a new translation of the text, of the Gospel of Matthew. It will be published in (probably) six volumes. In the meantime this book, Abomination of Desolation, is published as a stand-alone book. The three previous ones are: The Beatitudes and the Lords Prayer, The Sermon On the Mount, and Jesus On Divorce. Abomination of Desolation is a thorough exegesis of chapters twenty-four and twenty-five of the Gospel of Matthew. It explicitly follows the text of what Jesus Christ told His disciples while on the Mount of Olives before His crucifixion.
A much neglected field of study has been opened by the research of the author into the history of the Christian church from its apostolic origins to the close of the eighteenth century. Taking as his thesis the prominence given to the Church in the Wilderness in Bible prophecy, and the fact that “‘the Church in the Wilderness,’ and not the proud hierarchy enthroned in the world’s great capital, was the true church of Christ,” he has spent years developing this subject. In its present form, Truth Triumphant represents much arduous research in the libraries of Europe as well as in America. The faith of Jesus was valiantly upheld by the Church of the East. This term, as used by the author, not only includes the Syrian and Assyrian Churches, but is also the term applied to the development of apostolic Christianity throughout the lands of the East. The spirit of Christ, burning in the hearts of loyal men who would not compromise with paganism, sent them forth as missionaries to lands afar. Patrick, Columbanus, Marcos, and a host of others were missionaries to distant lands. They braved the ignorance of the barbarian, the intolerance of the apostate church leaders, and the persecution of the state in order that they might win souls to God. To unfold the dangers that were ever present in the conflict of the true church against error, to reveal the sinister working of evil and the divine strength by which men of God made truth triumphant, to challenge the Remnant Church today in its final controversy against the powers of evil, and to show the holy, unchanging message of the Bible as it has been preserved for t hose who will “fear God, and keep His commandments” — these are the sincere aims of the author as he presents this book to those who know the truth. Believers know that when we die we enter heaven and will spend eternity there with God and the saints who have gone before us. But what actually happens in heaven? What are we going to be doing there? Won't it get boring at some point? According to Scripture, a large part of our experience of heaven will be a continual revealing of God's glory. Not just his glory in the moment, but during all of time. The mysteries of providence, the hidden movements of God throughout history, and the forgotten and unnoted works of even the most obscure of God's people will be unveiled so that we can see how wise, loving, gracious, and powerful our God is. And though we will experience perfection in heaven, we will never be omniscient, which means we will always be learning more about God's glory, inspiring us to return joyful praise and thanksgiving. If your vision of heaven has been limited to clouds and harps and angels, it's time to expand that view with the truth found in this biblically based look at the afterlife.
