The two women play a dangerous game of their own, as they try to find out why Stanger is playing the deadly game. The killer strikes before they can prevent the murder. Fig and Starlight then find that they themselves may be the next target for the killer.Murder can be a fun thing when you read about it in a book, but not so funny when you are part of the threat, Fig says. Fig and Starlight fancy themselves amateur, but gifted sleuths as they try to prevent a murder. The theme is both dark and outrageously funny, as the two women develop their friendship in the midst of mayhem and murder.The reader will identify with Fig and Starlight as they become more and more involved in the murder and its consequences for themselves.
