Nash Rockwood and Charles Haldane announce the formation of a partnership for the practice of law under the firm name of Rockwood & Haldane at No. 60 Broadway, Manhattan, New York City. Mr. Rockwood is County Judge of Saratoga County and has had an office for some years past at No. 35 Nassau Street, Manhattan, New York City. Mr. Haldane has for a number of years been associated with David McClure. If the great tribunal of which the late Justice Harlan so recently ceased to be a member were not regarded as one of the main foundation stones of our government, whose sustaining and supporting strength is supreme even over the personalities of its component parts, it would be little less than appalling to see such a rapid succession of changes as has recently been witnessed in the membership of the United States Supreme Court. For the death of Justices Peckham, Brewer and Fuller, and the retirement of Justice Moody, brought four new faces to that great bench within two years. Now death has claimed the veteran Harlan, than whom, perhaps, no more interesting or picturesque personality ever sat in that quiet chamber, where so much of our national..
