The area described in this report lies off the north shore of Lake Athabasca immediately east of the Alberta- Saskatchewan boundary. The report describes the area's physiography, general geology, structural geology, metamorphism, and geologic evolution (excluding formation of the uranium deposits, glacial history, and recent processes). The final section describes the area's economic geology, including unconformity-type uranium deposits, pegmatite and detrital occurrences of radioactive minerals, and geochronology of the uranium mineralization.
