All persons with this surname in the U.S. are related to Vincent Stilson born ca. 1620 in England/Wales. He is believed to have been in Milford, Conn. in 1646, and in Marblehead, Essex Co., Mass. between 1668 and 1674. He died in Milford in 1690. He was married twice: 1. ca. 1655 to Grace (ca. 1639-1676); 2. to Mary?. He had eight children born between ca. 1656 and 1682.
