Srimad Bhagavatam is the nectar churned from the ocean of all revealed scriptures, the ripened fruit of the Vedas and its syllables rain pure love for the Almighty. This unalloyed spotless transcendental knowledge flows endlessly from Lord Krishna to the exalted and pure souls whose life and soul is Lord Krishna and such pure souls become a transparent medium for us to understand the intricate dynamics of the nectar of devotion and the nectarean Almighty Lord Sri Krishna. The treasured nectar of Bhagavatam has been impeccably churned by the scholarly stalwarts of Gaudiya Vaisnava lineage in the Symphony of Commentaries of the Tenth Canto of Srimad Bhagavatam.Among the Twelve Cantos of Srimad Bhagavatam, the tenth Canto is the casket of precious jewels, as it is the treasure trove of the pastimes of Lord Sri Krishna Himself. The Symphony of Commentaries of the Tenth Canto elucidates the track which leads the reader to expunge every tinge of doubt about the appearance of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krishna. Sanātana Gosvāmī wrote Bṛhad-vaiṣṇava-toṣaṇī, an elaborate commentary on the Tenth Canto to explain in detail what Śrīdhara Svāmī covered briefly, and to give devotional meaning where Śrīdhara Svāmī gave brahmanvada explanations. Jīva Gosvāmī wrote Laghu-vaiṣṇava-toṣaṇī as a summary version of Bṛhad-vaiṣṇava-toṣaṇī. The commentaries on first eight chapters of the Tenth Canto are virtually the same but after that point there are increasing differences. Ultimately this commentary is approximately same size as the Bṛhad-vaiṣṇava-toṣaṇī. He completed this work in Śakābda 1504.

At the final hour . . . This amazing narrative is based on the story of Ajamila from the Sixth Canto of Srimad-Bhagavatam. The law of karma states that we're all responsible for our actions, and death is the crucial moment when mysterious forces acting according to this law work behind the scenes to determine our destiny. As the sinful Ajamila lay on his deathbed, he was terrified to see three fierce, humanlike creatures coming to drag him out of his dying body and take him to the lord of death for punishment. Surprisingly, Ajamila escaped this terrible fate. How? A Second Chance: The Story of a Near-Death Experience teaches vital truths about the fundamental nature of the self and reality. At a time when reincarnation is quickly gaining acceptance, not only with the growing ranks of people reporting out-of-body and near-death experiences but with the public at large, A Second Chance can show one how to use meditation and yoga techniques to overcome the obstacles of materialism, meet the challenge of death, and ultimately attain spiritual perfection.

The Devi Bhagavatam is said to have been composed in Bengal in the sixth century CE, in twelve Parvas and 18,000 slokas. The text is only available in Bengali, with Hindi commentaries. It is replete with references to and legends from an obviously pre-Vedic religion of the Goddess. The Devi Bhagavatam is a Shakta Purana. It is for the Shakta what the Bhagavata Purana is for the Vaishnava: his or her most sacred book. The Shaktas worship Shakti, the Eternal Feminine, in all her forms. Devi is Kali and Durga; she is Saraswati, Mahalakshmi and Parvati; she is Sati, Sita and Radha. She is the Mother of the Universe; without her animating power, Shiva becomes shava, a corpse. This book is an abridged literary rendering of the Devi Bhagavatam. It retells all the major legends of the Goddess, as well as some other, less known tales.
