This new photo album is number 17 in the MMPBooks/Stratus "Camera On" series and is the second volume on the Sd.Kfz. 7, the book contains 140+ photographs of the Sd. Kfz 7 and its various sub-types, the photos mostly unpublished before now, are all from German sources, with the majority being private photos taken by ordinary German soldiers not professional propagandists. In this volume we endeavour to show the vehicle in even more depth and cover the sub-types in more detail than only one volume allowed, however still show the vehicle as the soldier viewed it as his work place and often also his home, not the highly posed and polished views of the official photographers.Book includes special versions like:Selbstfahrlafette (Sd. Operation Barbarossa: Volume IIA concerns the Wehrmacht. All the significant German weapon systems and combat squads used in the campaign are analysed using the quantitative methodology detailed in Volume I, along with the contextual history. An assessment of each weapon system's inherent 'combat power' is provided, as well as attributes such as the relative anti-tank, anti-personnel and anti-aircraft values. Volume IIA then focuses on the detailed Kriegstarkenachweisungen (KStN, or TOE) for German land units (including those in the West), as well as the unit's actual organisation and equipment. All significant units in the German Army (Heer), Waffen SS, Luftwaffe and security forces are included; ranging from the largest panzer divisions, down to small anti-aircraft companies, military-police units, Landesschutzen battalions, and rail-road and construction companies. In all cases the data is presented in detailed tables, using the weapon systems and combat squads previously analysed.

Panzer Tracts No. 2-2 - Panzerkampwagen II Ausf.G, H, J, L, and M development and production from 1938 to 1943. As a result of digging through public and private archives for 38 years, we are able to create this accurate history of the very rare variants from the Pz.Kpfw.II family - the VK 901, VK 903, VK 1301, VK 1303, and VK 1601. Original drawings, documented measurements, and original wartime photographs were used to create four-view drawings of the VK 901 and VK 1601 (printed at 1/35th scale). Over a thousand hours were spent precisely measuring external details of the "Luchs" in order to create as-built drawings of all six views (including right side and belly) with both the VK 1301 and VK 1303 turrets in 1/24th scale. Even the smallest details are clearly discernable in the component drawings at 1/10th scale including the surprise feature of an Orterkompass mounted on the turret roof. This 56 page book is illustrated with over 50 drawings and 41 clean/rare photos.

The German 88 mm guns became the most famous and feared artillery pieces of the Second World War. They appeared in a whole series of forms ranging from anti-aircraft to anti-tank and tank-guns, including several self-propelled platforms. Although primarily anti-aircraft guns they gained an awesome reputation as anti-tank weapons, a reputation that remains to this day. Terry Gander, in this in-depth, highly illustrated study, tells the story of the 88 from its first manifestations during the Great War to its clandestine development in Sweden, its production in Germany, its first 'multi-role' initiation during the Spanish Civil War and its part in the campaigns of 1939-40. As well as a detailed technical description of the gun and its development, his book features vivid accounts of the 88 in action in many of the main theaters of the Second World War, in North Africa, Italy, France and Germany, and on the Eastern Front.

This volume presents a cross-section of the most common transport vehicles produced and used by the German army. Tanks plus auxiliary vehicles such as cars, motorcycles, vans, ambulances, trucks and tractors made it possible for the troops to keep moving. These lightly armored or unarmored vehicles--aka "soft skins"--operated behind the front lines, maintaining supply lines, connecting armies with their home bases, and ultimately determining the outcome of battle. Beginning with the development of military vehicles in the early 1930s, this volume discusses the ways in which this new technology influenced and, to some extent, facilitated Hitler's program of rearmament. Nomenclature, standard equipment, camouflage and the combat roles of the various vehicles are thoroughly examined. Individual vehicle types are arranged and discussed by the following classifications: cars and motorcycles; trucks and tractors; half-tracks and wheeled combat vehicles. Accompanied by well-researched, detailed line drawings, each section deals with a number of individual vehicles, describing their design, manufacture and specific use.
