Wade grew up in Lancaster, California with a love for the written word. What started out as simple poems and predictable short stories has evolved into novels about struggles, conquest, love and death. Wade has published two other novels, “Specter of an Accident” and “Skinware” and has completed the writer’s version of the hat trick with the completion of “The Resurrection Factor.” Wade has also written “The Covenant Divorce Recovery Leader’s Handbook” which is a tutorial for starting divorce support groups for Christians. “The Covenant Divorce Recovery Student Workbook” was written as an aid for the members of said groups and allows a measure of accountability for the students as they follow along the fifteen week course. Wade has written two books of poetry, “To My Annie” and “To My Annie Book 2” and all of his works are available at online bookstores. His website is www.yellowriter.com and he lives in Port Angeles, Washington with his wife, Annie.

Christians believe that Jesus is the Messiah and the Savior of the human race, who died for the sins of humanity on the cross (1 Cor. 15:3). The next verse adds the essential “that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.” In Jesus’ Death and Burial, Michael Alter critically surveys the writings of leading Christian apologists about Jesus’ death and burial, and then explains why detractors and skeptics cannot accept the New Testament claim that Jesus died on the cross and received a tomb burial. The Resurrection and Its Apologetics is an in-depth series that significantly contributes both to the academic and non-academic world reviewing and analyzing the most salient claims put forward in defense of Jesus’ death, burial, and bodily resurrection from the dead.

In the companion volume to this, The Resurrection in Retrospect, Peter Carnley focuses on the inadequacies for faith in Jesus Christ of an approach to his resurrection purely as an event of past historical time. The Reconstruction of Resurrection Belief articulates an alternative understanding of resurrection faith as essentially a response of trust based upon a knowledge by acquaintance with the living presence of Christ today. This book seeks to articulate an understanding of the nature of resurrection faith in the language of today, with as much logical coherence as possible, in the hope that it may have some traction in the increasingly secular world of contemporary scientific materialism. It faces the key challenge of seeking to explain how the claim that the animating Spirit of the Christian community that Saint Paul spoke of as “the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus” (Rom 8:2) may be justifiably identified in faith today as “the living presence of Jesus of Nazareth.”
