Sir Edward Sugden having at the same time resigned the Great Seal of Ireland, the same was delivered to Maziere Brady, Esq., then Lord Chief Baron Of the Court of Exchequer in Ireland, and David R. Pigot, Esq., Q. C., was appointed Lord Chief Baron. Sir F. Thesiger resigned the office of attorney-general, and was succeeded therein by Sir T. Wilde. Sir Fitzroy Kelly resigned the Office of solicitor-general, which was thereupon conferred upon John Jervis, Esq., one of her Majesty's Counsel.
