Excerpt from Report of the Director for the Year Ending October 31, 1934 In the past ten years, there has been a marked improvement in the proportion of samples meeting their guaranties. In 1923, only 55 per cent of those examined met guaranties in all respects. Since 1928, the pro portion has not been less than 70 per cent; in 1930 it was 80 per cent; and during the past year it was 79 per cent.
