The book, by long-time Hawaii resident Blake Clark, provides an overview of what happened on that fateful day, as well as stories of sailors, flyers, soldiers, doctors, nurses, and civilians affected by the attack, plus an look at the large Japanese community present on Oahu. Although brief, this firsthand account is an important look at life on Hawaii at the time of the attack and shortly afterward.
