DOWNLOAD EBOOKPresents new analytical data for 44 different elements from a regional lake sediment and water geochemistry survey conducted along a northwest-southeast trending strip about 150 kilometres long and 30 kilometres wide, located immediately south of the British Columbia-Yukon border at the northern terminus of the Rocky Mountains. Samples were collected for analysis from 445 sites in the area and analyzed by atomic absorption spectroscopy and instrumental neutron activation analysis. Preliminary discussion of results is presented for such elements as zinc, lead, and barium. New areas are outlined for prospective sedimentary exhalative types of zinc-lead-barium deposits. The bulk of the report contains data tables and dot maps of element concentrations.
