Abstract: A compendium of data tapes that are available for public use covers currently-available tapes providing health statistics in a variety of health-related areas. These areas include: health facilities; health resources utilization (national surveys of hospital discharges, ambulatory medical care, nursing homes); vital events (incidence data on births, deaths, marriages, divorces); national survey data on family growth, birth and death, and health interviews; and data from HANES I, and from the 3 health examination surveys (NHES I, II, and III).
