DOWNLOAD EBOOKEthyl Acrylate [sic] is an important organic compound with the molecular formula of CH2CHCO2CH2CH3 it has lot of industrial applications and also commercial applications. It is widely used in the manufacture of various polymers especially in the production of textile products, paints and fibres. There are many chemical pathways to produce ethyl acrylate and the selection of the best path depend on some important criteria such as the amount of the yield that produce, economic analysis, quality, production, safety, environmental impact and also the technical details like mass and energy balance. The goal of this research is to design a plant that produces 50, 000 tons/year of Ethyl [sic] Acrylate [sic] from the Glycerol. [sic] This process goes through three main parts which are dehydration in gas phase of crude glycerol to acrolien,[sic] oxidation of acrolein to acrylic acid and the last one esterification reaction where ethanol reacts with acrylic acid to form Ethyl [sic] acrylate. The dehydration of glycerol to acrolein is an adequate reaction with suitable economic and environmental aspects so, production of ethyl acrylate from glycerol lead to improve the sustainability in environmental care. Moreover, Ethyl [sic] acrylate market in the UAE and Gulf region is expected to due to the rise industrial growth, advance urbanization and rising residential and office space constructions. Furthermore, For [sic] each equipment in the ethyl acrylate plant a detailed calculations for material balance, energy balance and equipment's design have been constructed including heat exchanger, dehydration reactor, esterfication reactor, a pump, an absorber, and a storage tank, The detailed design of the plant included calculations such as the area, height, volume and diameter. Moreover, the ethyl acrylate plant was found to be in a payback period of approximately 4 years a profitable one by doing an Economic [sic] analysis. Finally the ethical issues, safety studies and environmental impacts have been discussed in which HAZOP was made for all the units in the plant.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKThis handbook provides an exhaustive description of polyethylene. The 50+ chapters are written by some of the most experienced and prominent authors in the field, providing a truly unique view of polyethylene. The book starts with a historical discussion on how low density polyethylene was discovered and how it provided unique opportunities in the early days. New catalysts are presented and show how they created an expansion in available products including linear low density polyethylene, high density polyethylene, copolymers, and polyethylene produced from metallocene catalysts. With these different catalysts systems a wide range of structures are possible with an equally wide range of physical properties. Numerous types of additives are presented that include additives for the protection of the resin from the environment and processing, fillers, processing aids, anti-fogging agents, pigments, and flame retardants. Common processing methods including extrusion, blown film, cast film, injection molding, and thermoforming are presented along with some of the more specialized processing techniques such as rotational molding, fiber processing, pipe extrusion, reactive extrusion, wire and cable, and foaming processes. The business of polyethylene including markets, world capacity, and future prospects are detailed. This handbook provides the most current and complete technology assessments and business practices for polyethylene resins.
