This report presents the results of these extended studies. In this work emphasis was placed on the relationship of quan tity of extract to maximum fluidity and on the maximum fluidities of blends made by combining extracts and residues in different proportions Chemical analyses for coals, extracts, and residues are presented, and, in addition, molecular weight data are given for the pyridine extracts and fractions thereof derived by further solvent treatment.
