The revival of DeltaRex-G (formerly Rexin-G)—the first proactive tumor-hunting/tumor-killing biomedicine of this kind in history—returned active tumor surveillance and a precision-guided “silver bullet” (dnG1 killer gene) to the cancer clinic with “Expanded Access” in 2019. Empowered by US Right-to-Try legislation, while honoring ethical principles of “informed consent,” this unique graphic/picturesque presentation of clinical and translational medicine is intended for postmodern (post-Enlightenment) layman readers, including cancer patients, students, researchers, and future practitioners in the field of precision gene-based medicine. Confronting logical fallacies in popular opinion, the authors present newsworthy, up-to-date clinical research documenting the successful management of refractory metastatic cancers with tumor-targeted gene therapy vectors—validating “pathotropic” (disease-seeking) tumor targeting avant la lettre.

Faces of Sunset Boulevard: A Portrait of Los Angeles is a collection of photographs of the people who live, work, and play in Los Angeles. Some are making fortunes along the route; others are just trying to survive to see another day. Patrick Ecclesine captures the city's dreams, dreamers, and, at times, nightmares using the most famous boulevard in the world as the setting for his photographs. The individuals featured range from the famous (Governor Schwarzenegger, Larry King, Fernando Valenzuela) to the unknown (a street vendor, an undocumented worker, a bus driver) to the unwanted (a homeless man, a single mother on welfare, a drug addict). Other archetypal Angeleno figures--from a television weather-girl sensation to a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon to surfers in Pacific Palisades to the eccentric and outlandish denizens of the Sunset Strip--stand side by side in these pages, capturing the eclectic nature of the City of Angels and its most colorful thoroughfare, Sunset Boulevard.

Wars, hate, bloodshed, and savage events started in Iraq and the Middle East more than 1,400 years ago, long before the discovery of America and the establishing of the United States of America. The hate culture had been the real problem in the Middle East for hundreds of years. Certainly it is not the USA, even in the case of the Arab-Israel conflict in modern history. It is well-known that the various American administrations tried to find a peaceful end to this conflict. Unfortunately, the Arab leaders always give the public an impression that they are very close to defeating Israel, and they put the blame for not doing it on the USA. The Arab leaders and the media ignore that the Israelis have had nuclear weapons since the '60s. Only a naïve person would think that the Israeli people will follow the steps of the crusaders by boarding ships and leaving the Middle East. The Israelis will not keep their nuclear weapons in boxes and leave, asking the Arab leaders to dust them occasionally. They will use them to defend their existence, and a new map for the Middle East will emerge. The Arab government officials still cannot see that Iran-Syria and its associates in Iraq and Lebanon are the enemy and the real threat to them and the whole world. The Iranians used thousands of twelve-year-old Iranian Muslim children to walk through the mine fields to clear the way for the regular Iranian military forces during the Iran-Iraq war. Also, they used chemical weapons, political assassinations, and international terrorism. The hate culture directed toward Israel along with the corruption, oppression, and all other aspects of the hate culture cloud the judgment of the Arab officials and the public.

Character drives plot. Based on this principle, this book walks aspiring writers through the fascinating world of character-driven screenwriting. When a writer engages their characters, they start a process which naturally leads to the story’s structure and everything else that makes for a well-written narrative. Exploring the protagonist’s journey and their “unity arc,” Myers explains how a family of characters surrounds the protagonist and influences their transformation process. This easy-to-follow guide features activities that will help writers of any level develop their stories from concept to scene-by-scene outline. Based upon a popular workshop Myers has led with over a thousand writers at all levels of experience, this book is a must-have for screenwriting students, both undergraduate and graduate, and those looking at advanced story development.

When you cuss a dude out on his answering machine then years later, he uses it in a song on his album (one that would become one of the most influential in Rock history). Who cares about royalties when you can write a book about this story and make new friends that can change your life? This autobiography is my latest message to my ex roommates in LA, Gary Helsinger (discoverer of Tool and Jeff Buckley) and tycoon Jerry Phlippeau. Both were Maynard James Keenan's roommates as well. One day, Gary handed Signor Keenan of Tool the original tape with my interlude recorded in 1992. They added it to Ænima (1996) and Salival (2000). Only eighteen years later, I found out. Now, I have wrote the true story of Harry Manback.
