Ramseyer, has been an Elder in the Second Presbyterian Church for many years. Aside from the many duties and responsibilities which he has assumed over the years in connection with his local church, he has given of his time and strength to many posi tions of service. He is a member of the Board of National Missions of the Presbyterian Church, u.s.a. He holds a position on the Executive Committee of the National Coun cil of Presbyterian Men. He is a trustee of Bloomington Presbytery and a member of the Presbyterian Foundation of the Synod of Illinois. Not only has he been the President of the Board of Directors of the Bloomington but has held several offices in the state executive committee of the Illinois including the position of President of the Board. He is one of the leading attorneys of the Mc Lean County Bar Association with his office in Bloomington. His interest in the work of the church in its many depart ments is a well-known fact among his acquaintances. He has had a great interest in the history and development of the Second Presbyterian Church. We are grateful for his research and diligent work in the preparation of this volume.
