This November 1978 symposium was convened by the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration's Office of Criminal Justice Education and Training in Dallas, Texas, to explore the role of education and training in human resources development. The symposium considered criminal justice manpower needs, the development of comprehensive manpower planning methodologies, and police officer standards and training.
