"I was so surprised and happy to see this novella come out! I am a huge fan of The Children of the Gods books, and this was a great addition to that series. it was great to see more of Kri and Michael. They have a different dynamic and relationship than some of the other characters in the book, so it was nice to get to watch their relationship evolve in this book. If you are a fan of the series, you should DEFINITELY get this book, you will be happy you did, I highly recommend it. I'm dying to read the next book in the series (Dark Warrior's Destiny)!! I hope the series continues for a while to come. :)" "Kri and Michael get their story told in this romantic novella from the Children of the Gods series. Ms. Lucas weaves a beautiful story about these young lovers and their struggle to express what has always been in their hearts. Advice comes from both likely and unlikely sources and in the end, resolves beautifully. I still have a smile on my face.)" Excellent story, I stumbled upon this series and now I can't seem to put them down!! Love the story and the characters and I've already finished all of the books!! Eeeek!! Can't wait for the next story and am looking forward to following all of the characters =) Thanks for your inventive imagination with creating a story line that seems so real. When Michael and Kri fight off a gang of humans, Michael gets stabbed. The injury to his immortal body recovers fast, but the one to his ego takes longer, putting a strain on his relationship with Kri.

In 1995, Stephen Kirkpatrick joined a five-man expedition into the remote jungles of the Peruvian Amazon. Kirkpatrick's assignment was to document an area of the rainforest that had never before been photographed, nor by most accounts, ever explored by white men. Within hours of their departure, an inaccurate map and a series of bad decisions leave the group hopelessly lost in the depths of the Amazon jungle. What began as a career-making photo expedition quickly turned into a desperate struggle for survival. The five men battle poisonous reptiles, hungry bugs, torrential rains, brutal heat, and an unforgiving landscape in an attempt to find their way back to civilization. They soon learn that survival is not only a physical, but a mental and spiritual challenge as well. Lost in the Amazon is a gripping, sometimes humorous, and ultimately inspirational story about the human drive to survive, and about clinging to faith in the worst circumstances imaginable.

Voyaging into a sector of interstellar space that is plunged into total darkness with an absolute absence of any light, the four Cosmic Crusaders encounter their most powerful and sinister enemy yet--an alien mastermind who is regarded as a God by the race he has created. This scientist has altered the nature of space itself, so that it no longer conducts light, forcing the slaves he's created to evolve without eyes, and to develop extrasensory perception. Not content with shaping the evolution of their bodies, the mastermind also contrives an apparatus that impresses on their minds the need to conquer and dominate, thus creating a menace to the universe that the Crusaders must try to eliminate. Another rousing adventure in this long-running science-fiction adventure series!

With captivating lyricism, Amazon Wisdom Keeper transports us into the multicultural upbringing and transformation of Loraine Van Tuyl, a graduate psychology student and budding shamanic healer who’s blindsided by startling visions, elusive drumming, and her inseverable mystical ties to the Amazon rainforest of her native Suriname. Is she in the wrong field, or did her childhood dreams, imaginary guides, and premonitions somehow prepare her for these challenges? Did Suriname’s military coup and her family’s uprooting move to the US rob her from all that she knew and loved at thirteen to help reveal her soul’s purpose, or is she losing her mind by entertaining far-fetched questions and hunches that can’t be answered or proven—like wondering if her perplexing life story is shedding light on the double-binds in her field on purpose, and suspecting that her soul’s daunting blue print was plotted long before she was even born? Van Tuyl wrestles with these questions and more as she embarks upon her risky quest, enduring test upon test in search of her true self and calling while enrolled in a rigorous academic program that regards intuitive healing methods as unscientific—and even unethical.
