It is compounded of all His shining attributes. The more vivid hues Of His power, justice, holiness and truth melt into the softer lines of His wisdom, mercy and love - and grace is the pearly sum of them. We do not reach the whole truth when we think Of it as the Offspring of a single attribute. The cross sublimely testifies that the whole Divine nature is exercised toward this end.'
