Palmer Tingley (b.1614) emigrated in 1635 from England to Ipswich, Massachusetts in 1635. Samuel Tingley (d.1666), a son of Palmer, was born before 1638 and moved from Ipswich to Malden, Massachusetts. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, South Carolina, Ohio, Illinois and throughout the United States. Many descendants immigrated to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick after the French and Indian War, and many more descendants immigrated to Quebec, Ontario and elsewhere after the Revolutionary War; progeny live throughout Canada. Includes some ancestry and genealogical data in England.
