DOWNLOAD EBOOKMost Western-driven theories do not have a place in Black communicative experience, especially in Africa. Many scholars interested in articulating and interrogating Black communication scholarship are therefore at the crossroads of either having to use Western-driven theory to explain a Black communication dynamic, or have to use hypothetical rules to achieve their objectives, since they cannot find compelling Black communication theories to use as reference. Colonization and the African slave trade brought with it assimilationist tendencies that have dealt a serious blow on the cognition of most Blacks on the continent and abroad. As a result, their interpersonal as well as in-group dialogic communication had witnessed dramatic shifts. Black/Africana Communication Theory assembles skilled communicologists who propose uniquely Black-driven theories that stand the test of time. Throughout the volume’s fifteen chapters theories including but not limited to Afrocentricity, Afro-Cultural Mulatto, Venerative Speech Theory, Africana Symbolic Contextualism Theory, HaramBuntu-Government-Diaspora Communications Theory, Consciencist Communication Theory and Racial Democracy Effect Theory are introduced and discussed.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKThis segment of the beginning of Ma'atic Balance: The Law of Unity of Opposites demonstrates throughout each chapter the composer's dexterous ability to be in sync and command of his acute intellectual quality of intuition. A phenomenal craftiness of a unique, dramatic, and poetic style of harmony and balance that is based solely on how our souls, or that spirit mind (consciousness), is in accord or synchronized with our equilibrium, which is a state of balance between two opposing forces, powers, or influences that's correlative to one another, and neither one cannot function as a whole without the other. Or, for example, physics—Sir Albert Einstein's two-part theory that mass and energy are equivalent, that space and time are relative concepts, and that gravitational and inertial forces are equivalent. I think Mr. Stein called it relativity! Yeah. Re-la-ti-vi-ty. A new sense of acuteness cannot be attained without its essence being provoked to intercede through meditation, relaxation, and uttermost erudition of phenomenal intuition that's beyond normal sensory perception or contact; which is said and understood as the unification (or whole) of the self with the supreme being. An unfortunate event; and heavy-hearted disconcerted conditions propelled evincible. Shiny emerald – trimmed gold! Showcasing ma'atic balance.

DOWNLOAD EBOOKThe 1950s were the golden age of the American automobile, and the cars were faster, bigger, and more boldly styled than ever before. Sunday driving--Cleaver-style--in the regal family Ford, Edsel or Plymouth topped the list of national pastimes; and teenagers, behind the wheels of their daddies' thundering T-birds, had fun, fun, fun across America's highways. The economic prosperity of the country made for an "ultramatic" boom in car manufacturing, and the advertising industry followed suit. This reprint of a Chronicle Books classic collects the "masterpieces" of automobile advertising, culled from the pages of such popular periodicals as Life, The Saturday Evening Post, Collier's, Look, and Holiday. Their colorful illustrations and catchy copy give these ads a "power-packed beauty" all their own, offering a fun look at 50s culture and values. So take a cruise down memory lane with this fond look back on a time when tail fins and chrome were the standard, and the American car was the true King of the Road.
