DOWNLOAD EBOOKExcerpt from Levels-of-Growing-Stock Cooperative Study in Douglas-Fir: Report No. 13, the Francis Study, 1963-90 Contrary to expectations when the study was started, cubic-foot volume growth was strongly related to level of growing stock for both the early and late thinning treat ments. Basal area growth of thinned treatments was directly related to level of growing stock; however, basai area growth of the control was often less than that of treatments. Basal area growth culminated before age 25. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
