The objectives of this study are to identify the ground water resources in Lee County and to quantify these parameters to aid the development of a long-term management program. This report describes the compilation and assessment of existing data; provides a description of the ground water resource including safe yield criteria for water use, recharge areas, and a water budget for both urban and rural areas; identifies the location of potential new public water supplies, evaluates factors indicating water availability, examines the cost of water conservation and other alternatives; and presents a recommendation for a Water Resource Management Plan to assist Lee County in meeting future water demands.--Introduction.
