Las enseñanzas de Lao Tse son muy fáciles, no puedes encontrar enseñanzas más fáciles que ellas. Buda es un poco complejo, Jesús también, Krishna, mucho, pero Lao Tse es absolutamente sencillo, y por esa sencillez es el más escurridizo. La gente no ha podido comprenderle, no porque sea difícil, sino porque es muy fácil. De hecho, no hay nada que comprender, no hay nada que resolver. Si la mente tiene algo que resolver, intenta resolverlo. En el esfuerzo por resolverlo, llega a una cierta comprensión. Pero si la cosa es absolutamente fácil, la mente no tiene ningún reto. No se trata de resolverlo, ya está resuelto. La mente simplemente se olvida de ello. No es un problema, por lo que no tiene interés para la mente, no es una curiosidad para la mente. No hay reto en ello, la mente no puede superarlo, conquistarlo, no tiene sentido: la victoria es tan fácil que la mente piensa que la victoria es inútil. Por eso se ha echado de menos a Lao Tse, que es el más profundo. Pero su enseñanza es muy fácil.
