The major land use objectives set forth in the Plan constitute the basis according to which the zoning ordinance currently in use will be revised. Although the adopted Thoroughfare Plan was formulated a scant three years before, several elements contained therein are already obsolete and prompt revisions are needed in accordance with the Land Development Plan. Among the various elements of this contract the Land Use Plan is, therefore, a pivotal study. Of the other contractual elements, the Population and Economy Study has been published by the Division of Community Planning in 1965. A Governmental Space Study has been published in 1966, and a Neighborhood Analysis will be published in the latter part of 1966. The extensively revised Zoning Ordinance will be published upon its adoption by the local legislative body.
