The With God All Things Are Possible Pink Handy-Sized Faux Leather Journal is a delightful journal, perfect for practicing gratitude and mindfulness. Its cheerful color, design, and Scripture title set the tone for this journal to be a place of praise, inspiration, reflection, and goal setting. The deep pink faux leather flexcover is heat debossed with two bands of intricate flourishes along the top and bottom of the cover giving it a tone-on-tone look. The title, taken from the book of Matthew, is centered on the design and is displayed in large gold foiled lettering. Gilt-edged pages perfectly complement the gold lettering on the cover and protect the page ends from dust and moisture. Each of the 240 pages is lined interior pages and features a verse from Scripture. A presentation page at the front of the journal is useful to write a message that marks a special occasion, offer words of encouragement, or record a meaningful Bible verse, or simply sign the journal with your own name. An attached satin ribbon marker helps to locate the last journal entry quickly, and because of its smaller size, this fits into a purse or backpack with no trouble at all. Classical Trinitarianism holds that every action of Trinity in the world is inseparable. That is, the divine persons are equally active in every operation. But then, in what way did the Father create the world through Christ? How can only the Son be incarnate, die, and be resurrected? Why does Christ have to ascend before the Spirit may come? These and many other questions pose serious objections to the doctrine of inseparable operations. In the first book-length treatment of this doctrine, Adonis Vidu takes up these questions and offers a conceptual and dogmatic analysis of this essential axiom, engaging with recent and historical objections. Taking aim at a common “soft” interpretation of the inseparability rule, according to which the divine persons merely cooperate and work in concert with one another, Vidu argues for the retrieval of “hard inseparability,” which emphasizes the unity of divine action, primarily drawing from the patristic and medieval traditions. Having probed the biblical foundations of the rule and recounted the story of its emergence in nascent Trinitarianism and its neglect in modern theology, Vidu builds a constructive case for its retrieval. The rule is then tested precisely on the battlegrounds that were thought to have witnessed its defeat: the doctrines of creation, incarnation, atonement, ascension, and the indwelling of the Spirit. What emerges is a constructive account of theology in which the recovery of this dogmatic rule shines fresh light on ancient doctrines.

What would you do if you knew your time was short? Pink Lips and Fingertips answers this question through the life of Jeri Ivison Paholek, who was born with a rare heart defect called common ventricle and given a death sentence by the medical community. Instead of retreating inward and playing it safe to extend her years or embarking on extravagant global adventures, Jeri chose to impact the world for Christ-whether by corresponding with convicted bomber Timothy McVeigh on death row or starting a prayer stand immediately after the 9/11 attacks. Her indomitable spirit in the face of death will inspire and captivate. You will not approach life the same way after reading this book. "Rick Weber has always searched for greater understanding of his subjects and the obstacles they face. Finding solace and inspiration in their tales goes beyond merely the details of his career, but permeates who Rick is on a personal level. It's again obvious in his best work to date, Pink Lips and Fingertips. Jeri's story isn't just for those of faith, but for those who simply need to understand the will to survive and thrive in the face of life-threatening challenge." -Jason Cole, Yahoo! "This is an inspiring story that recognizes all heroes don't march in parades or speak before crowds. Jeri is petite and literally suffers from a broken heart. But she refuses to disconnect from God, who authors a supernatural miracle activated by love, courage and faith." -Armando Salguero, Miami Herald RICK WEBER graduated from Penn State with a B.A. in journalism. He has won the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism, been honored twice by the Associated Press Sports Editors and contributed to Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Golf Book. He lives in Katy, Texas, with his son, Austin.
