DOWNLOAD EBOOKDescendants of two brothers, Thomas Etherton Sr. and Samuel Etherton, sons of Samuel Etherton (1748-1832), who was born in Jamaica and came to Virginia as a farmer in the early 1760s. He migrated to Tennessee in the early 1780s and on to Illinois in 1827. Thomas Etherton Sr. (1810-1876) died in Pamona Twp. of Jackson Co., Illinois. He was married to Jennie Lipe (1785-1853). They were parents of twelve children. Samuel Etherton (1811-1854) married Rebecca Hull (1809-1877). They were parents of nine children. Family resided in Coon Ridge, Perry Co., Illinois. Includes the Henson family originally of Tennessee and later in Illinois. Descendants live in Illinois, Missouri, California and elsewhere.
