DOWNLOAD EBOOKWilliam Bradbury and his family sailed for America on 7 February 1849. On 1 July 1839, William had been baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in England. He married Margaret Townsend ca 1842 and had four children of which two died. The youngest son, William Hyrum Bradbury lived to come to America where he contracted cholera and died after his mother had also contracted the disease and both are buried in St. Louis, Missouri. After traveling to Iowa where he met and married Jane Dunsdon, the family traveled and settled in Utah.
