"This hydrologic condition survey on the Galisteo Creek Watershed was undertaken to determine the extent of necessary watershed restoration work in the watershed above the Galisteo Reservoir being builty the Corps of Engineers. National Forest system Watershed No. 13 includes all the Santa Fe National Forest lands that lie above the dam, and in addition, 6,037 acres that drain into the Santa Fe River. This watershed is approximately divided in half between the Tesuque and Pecos Ranger districts" - p. [iii].
