Hunter’s Tales: The Imps’ Curse is a story within a story. An old man who everyone calls Hunter is telling the tale of one of his adventures to a small crowd on a stormy day. This story is one of his earliest adventures. It begins when a bedraggled young dwarf named Ryder arrives at the Guild College with a plea from her father for aid against a dragon that a group of his warriors stumbled into. Along with his best friend, Tamra, and the powerful mage Sariah, he accompanies Ryder back to her home. Throughout a journey that takes them through land, sea, and even air, the small group encounters hidden foes, unexpected friends, and dangerous, hidden lands. Meanwhile, a rebellion is afoot in the dwarven kingdom. The loyal survivors of a coup are forced to flee into the deep tunnels underneath the dwarven capital city. Unaware of this violent transfer of power, the group continues south. Through a strange twist of fate, they join up with the rebel dwarves and other allies to free the rest of the dwarves from the grip of a cruel tyrant. Will they succeed in their endeavors and oust the usurper to instill the rightful heir to power, or will they all, friend and foe alike, be consumed by an unknown power that none of them know exists?

From Guillermo del Toro and DreamWorks Animation's Emmy® Award-winning Netflix series, comes a graphic novel with another quest for teenage Jim Lake, Jr., and his friends--human and Troll! The title of Trollhunter weighs heavy on the shoulders of Jim Lake, Jr.--as does his new title of "boyfriend"--and it has lead him to a crisis of identity. To help the young man grasp who he is, the Trolls, Vendel, Blinky, and AAARRRGGHH!!!, and his best friend, Toby, look at the adventures and misadventures of six previous Trollhunters during times when they, too, questioned themselves. Through their stories Jim discovers how Trollhunters Deya the Deliverer and Kanjigar the Courageous--and others--used their different attributes to be the best they could be . . . And how he can try to do the same. Writer Richard Ashley Hamilton (How to Train Your Dragon: The Serpent's Heir) expands on the world of the Trollhunters along with Timothy Green II (Avengers Academy), Joe Silver (Animal Man), Omar Lozano (Ultra Duck), Wes Dzioba (Serenity), and Edgar Delgado (Ultra Duck)!

The Ortolan Hunters and Other Disturbing Tales is a beautiful collection of three short stories and a novella. Occasionally funny, sometimes hot, and frequently twisted, the collection dives into sexual desires, erotic oneupmanship, and the boundary between fetish and morality. The Ortolan Hunters is about a couple fighting over the little birds. When the narrator is finally convinced to procure the exotic, and illegal dish, he decides he needs to teach his partner a lesson. It's intense, delicious, and fairly twisted, to say the least. The Elevator follows another couple acting out a horrible fantasy with a stranger. It's a disturbing story that flips the rules of consent as they draw out his most basic instincts. The Unicorn is the funny break in the middle, and follows the narrator as he heads over to be the third to some friends who have never had a threesome before. It's safe to say, nothing goes exactly as planned. The Day The Lights Went out takes place in a NYC Hotel during a blackout. Two strangers meet for a one-night-stand, but get interrupted when the place goes dark. Instead of just getting busy they decide to test each other with stories of their past, each trying to prove how horrible they are. In between each story they discuss sexuality, consent, fetish, guilt, and kink, arguing about feminism and masculinity all the while trying to out do each other. Their stories are filthy and border on the edge of acceptable, often falling off the wrong side. But how much are they making up and how much is true? And more importantly, does it matter?
