The room was silent save for the tick, tock of the ever swinging arm of the grand father clock, stuffed into the narrow corner of the small room. The room was littered with the remnants of history; such an unrelenting force as time had held sway; as ages past. Heavy motes of dust stood as a silent testimony to the silence which had permeated the room, Then like a breath something stirred in the rooms depths. Shadows swayed on the wall as a creature unfurled its heavy wings, disturbing the settled dust, plumes swirled towards the low cantered ceiling a low rumble echoed hollowly filling the with sound.
With references to the theoretical framework of Michel Foucault and Pierre Bourdieu, this book offers a critical investigation into such epic issues as the end of art and the inherent laws of literature’s evolution, while conflating the two into one major argumentation. The book proceeds from Hegel's claim of "the end of art" to tackle the universal yet essential problem of literature: its legitimacy in a sociological sense. It invests Bourdieu’s sociological terms -- power, capital, habitus, field, etc. into the study of literature and art while taking on other theoretical enquiries, particularly the Marxist exploration into ideology, as well as aspects of economics and communication studies. This book will be a valuable resource for students and scholars of the sociology of literature, cultural studies, and those with specific interests in Chinese literature, literary and art theory.

As Christians, we know that we are new creations in Jesus. So we try to act differently, hoping this will make us more like Him. But changing our outward behavior doesn’t change our hearts. Only by God’s grace can we be transformed internally. Renovation of the Heart lays a biblical foundation for understanding what best-selling author Dallas Willard calls the “transformation of the spirit”—a divine process that “brings every element in our being, working from inside out, into harmony with the will of God.” This fresh approach to spiritual growth explains the biblical reasons why Christians need to undergo change in six aspects of life: thought, feeling, will, body, social context, and soul. Willard also outlines a general pattern of transformation in each area, not as a sterile formula but as a practical process that you can follow without the guilt or perfectionism so many Christians wrestle with. Don’t settle for complacency. Accept the challenge Renovation of the Heart offers to become an intentional apprentice of Jesus Christ, changing daily as you walk with Him.

We cannot relate to a spirit God, a spirit Savior, a spirit Uncle, and a spirit enemy without embracing the spirit world. This book coined the phrase "Earth-life Bias" [ELB] to identify the enemy's work in our daily lives and illustrate how most believers just add our Abba Father as an accessory to this life instead of becoming citizens of Heaven and members of his Family. This book illustrates how pervasive ELB is in every aspect of our lives without criticizing any person, organization or denomination. They all serve our Abba Father’s purpose and all have Romans 10 in their Holy Bibles which shows us how to avoid the fiery pit. The rest of the Scripture is about our relationships. Esoteric knowledge of the Scripture is for scholars, we need to apply it to our lives. After revealing the ELB in our lives, we explain how to escape it by embracing the supernatural divine spirit world and how the “godly control system,” the heart, mind, spirit, soul connection with the Holy Spirit, Jesus and our Abba Father works. With that foundation, we show how build our faith, relationships, and marriages, converting “for better or worse” to sanctified marriage with vows to our Abba Father to do it his way. There is also a section on Daniel which brings our Abba Father into modern times, explains what is taking Jesus so long to get here, and answers a lot of questions about end times. This section is work but it is a giant faith builder, as you will see. But regardless of where we worship, we are individually responsible for own relationship with our Abba Father and this book will help any believer grow their faith and experience the full joy, peace and glory our Abba Father created for us.

A dream is a mysterious realm that has always fascinated me, and I have always been fortunate enough to receive a dream or two each night. They have always had an ethereal quality, impalpable and spiritual. The Songs of My Heart are descriptions of dreams I have had that have stayed with me and provided a secret doorway, if you will, to the world of my childhood and then to an ideal place created by my heart. Having access to these sweet remembrances has gladdened my spirit, strengthened me in times of sorrow, and confirmed my faith and hope in Gods goodness and abiding love. My descriptions of these dreams are done in lyrical prose to portray and convey the essence of my dream world as I have known it. The second part of this volume, Evensong, are poems of love and praise delineating the greatness of God and His omniscient presence in our lives. I have written of His kindness and mercy to encourage others who may not know Him yet, to come and taste the sweetness of the Lord.
