Francis Baldridge (ca. 1741-1830/1840) was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, son of John Baldridge and Rebekah Clark who were married in Northern Ireland in 1733. His wife, Elizabeth Turrentine (ca.1759-1830/40), was the daughter of Alexander Turrentine (ca. 1725-1784) who immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1745 and later moved to North Carolina. Francis also lived in Tennessee and later died in Jefferson County, Mississippi. Descendants lived in North Carolina, Mississippi, Texas, Louisiana, California, and elsewhere.
