Donald G. Bloesch is among the most important American theologians of the 20th and early 21st centuries. He calls himself a "catholic evangelical" and indeed, his appeal is as wide as those terms imply. His work has appeared in Catholic religious periodicals as well as many varieties of Protestant publications, both mainstream and lesser known. As a prolific author, Bloesch's writing is scattered across a large number of journals, many of which are difficult to access, and reviews of his work appear in an even larger range of forums. Donald G. Bloesch: A Research Bibliography collocates as many relevant resources on Bloesch's writing as possible. The book provides a chronological listing and description of each work written by Bloesch, as well as reviews of Bloesch's writing. Each entry gives the title, publication details, and notes about the relationship of the item described to other publications. Several indexes are also included, giving a checklist of books by Bloesch, a checklist of books to which Bloesch has contributed, and a list of book reviews that Bloesch has written about other authors. Finally, there is an alphabetical index of titles, names, and periodicals cited in the bibliography, making this the most comprehensive resource available on Bloesch.

In recent years interest in the thought of Kierkegaard has grown dramatically, and with it the body of secondary literature has expanded so quickly that it has become impossible for even the most conscientious scholar to keep pace. The problem of the explosion of secondary literature is made more acute by the fact that much of what is written about Kierkegaard appears in languages that most Kierkegaard scholars do not know. Kierkegaard has become a global phenomenon, and new research traditions have emerged in different languages, countries and regions. The present volume is dedicated to trying to help to resolve these two problems in Kierkegaard studies. Its purpose is, first, to provide book reviews of some of the leading monographic studies in the Kierkegaard secondary literature so as to assist the community of scholars to become familiar with the works that they have not read for themselves. The aim is thus to offer students and scholars of Kierkegaard a comprehensive survey of works that have played a more or less significant role in the research. Second, the present volume also tries to make accessible many works in the Kierkegaard secondary literature that are written in different languages and thus to give a glimpse into various and lesser-known research traditions. The six tomes of the present volume present reviews of works written in Catalan, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, Galician, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, and Swedish.

By redefining terms and language, the far-left controls discourse and alters Western civilization even to the extreme of exchanging that which was formerly nearly universally condemned for what is now nearly universally celebrated—the almost total desecration of the created order (Rom 1:18–32). And those who refuse to celebrate are threatened with the loss of their business, their home, and life’s savings. Virtually everything formally considered right and true, sane and decent are now exchanged for inhuman, indecent, pagan values. Our nation’s nearly universal refusal to acknowledge God has resulted in our alienation from God and our lawless insanity. This book is not intended to condemn America but to restore sanity and civility to the greatest nation on earth through a minority of united, faithful, and courageous believers in whose lives the Sermon on the Mount takes narrative form.
