The Twilight Zone meets black comedy in this supernatural revenge parody from the “smart, funny, and unique” Emmy-winning writer of Veep (Neil Gaiman) When an aspiring writer—and well-known jerk—plagiarizes a book only he seems to remember, he’s dogged by consequences straight out of a horror novel It is March 1979 in DeKalb Illinois. Todd Milstead is a wannabe writer, a serial adulterer, and a jerk—only tolerated by his friends because he throws the best parties with the best booze. During one such party, Todd shows off his perfect recall, quoting poetry and literature word for word plucked from his eidetic memory. When he begins quoting from a book no one else seems to know, a novel called All My Colors, Todd is incredulous. He can quote it from cover to cover—and yet it doesn't seem to exist. With a looming divorce and mounting financial worries, Todd finally tries to write a novel, with the vague idea of making money from his talent. The only problem is he can't write. But the book—All My Colors—is there in his head. Todd makes a decision: he will “write” this book that nobody but him can remember. After all, if nobody’s heard of it, how can he get into trouble? As the dire consequences of his actions come home to both Todd and his long-suffering friends, it becomes clear that there is a high—and painful—price to pay for his crime.

Adam Czerniakow heads the governing body of the Warsaw Jewish Ghetto, the Judenrat. He is frustrated by his role of implementing irrational Nazi orders, by his inability to protect a half-million sick and starving ghetto inhabitants. Now he is being forced to help Hitler in a plot to defeat Russia. Sam Bender, a 90s businessman and family man, has his own demons. He is haunted by his past relationships with a brother serving time for murder, and a father who died years ago leaving a trail of deceit and conflict. Suddenly, his father and brother are thrust to the forefront of his life. These two worlds, separated by half a century in time and thousands of miles, suddenly collide. Bender inadvertently acquires a long lost diary. Through it, he begins to learn about an isolated Jews struggle against overwhelming odds to stop German aggression. At the same time, Bender and others become targets of neo-Nazis bent on taking whatever steps are necessary - burglary, assault, kidnapping, murder - to recover the diary. * * * * * Bender is outwardly congenial and affable, ten years into a comfortable second marriage, devoted to his and Rivas kids. But demons gnaw at his gut. He silently reviles a brother who was his childhood tormentor. And he fights a constant urge to examine the residue locked in the wall safe in his den - the legacy of his father. On a business trip to Rome, Bender ends up with a small, tattered notebook whose contents are scribbled in a language he cant read. When he tries to return the book, he discovers its previous owner, Dominick Sorrento, has been murdered. He asks Don Slatter, an English professor and part-time Eastern European translator, to look at the book. Slatter determines it is a Polish diary written during the World War II era, and agrees to translate it. But others want the book. Sams home is ransacked, a smoke bomb is planted in the Slatter house, and one of Rivas friends is bludgeoned to death. Police on two continents are now actively involved in finding the murderers of Dominick Sorrento and Rivas friend. In Italy, a search gets underway for a former Sorrento employee, someone tied to the neo-Nazi German National Party. This search leads the police to a fatal stabbing at the Jewish Synagogue in Florence. In Maryland, with Benders help, police discover the three murders are connected and are the result of the GNPs attempts to steal the notebook. In the meantime, Slatters translation reveals the book was actually a diary, written by the Chairman of the Warsaw Jewish ghetto, Adam Czerniakow, during the 1940-1941 time frame. It hints at an attempt by Hitler to use Czerniakow in a scheme to outwit the Allies, and a plan concocted by Czerniakow to outwit the Third Reich. As Bender and Slatter begin to unravel the secrets of the notebook, Sams brother escapes from prison, Riva is assaulted, her daughter is kidnapped, and Bender is shot.
Miss Wilhelmina Moon is a dog governess. At her first placement, on a small island off the coast of France, her new charges - sixty-seven dogs of all shapes, sizes and colors - run wild. But armed with patience and a passion for teaching, as well as her companions, Mitford the monkey and Petunia the French bulldog, Miss Moon soon imparts twenty important lessons to her furry brood. Some are practical, some are playful, one or two are a little unusual, but all are necessary for the raising of happy, healthy and well-mannered dogs (and humans).

From USA Today bestselling author Jennifer Sucevic comes a steamy, enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity, new adult sports romance collection that is laugh out loud funny featuring three strong heroines and the cocky football players who fall first and hard for them. King of Campus Roan King. The uncrowned king of Barnett University. He's like a freaking celebrity around here. People, by which I mean grown women, actually stalk him on the internet. And around campus. Apparently, he's god's gift to both football and the ladies (I'm using that term loosely). All he has to do is smile and girls fall right onto their backs before spreading their legs wide. I've heard that he's already plowed his way through half the female population at Barnett. My guess is that he'll work his way through the second half before he gets drafted to the NFL later this year. Yeah...I don't plan to be one of them. The guy is nothing more than a conceited player. You know the type—a steroid infused meathead coasting through college on his football prowess. Ugh. I have three words for you—avoid, avoid, avoid. Friend Zoned Sam Harper is my best friend and has been since we were fourteen years old. Unfortunately, he sees himself as my unofficial big brother. Which is to say that the guy is a major cock block. I swear he has a sixth sense when it comes to me getting laid. It's frustrating how I can be on the verge of sealing the deal when Sam will appear out of nowhere, and suddenly my night is going up in a big ball of sexually frustrated flames. I think the guy enjoys messing with me. Why else would he take such perverse pleasure in doing it? Exactly. I'm thinking he needs a girlfriend. Someone to preoccupy him. Maybe then he'd stop trying to get in my way all the time. Except...I'm starting to notice things about Sam that I definitely shouldn’t be noticing. Like those piercing blue eyes that pin me in place. Or his short blond hair that I want to drag my fingers through. Not to mention those killer abs that I sometimes catch a fleeting glimpse of when he stretches next to me in class. The strange feelings that have sprung up in me are definitely starting to freak me out. I mean, we’re friends. We’ve always been just friends. And I don’t want that to change. One Night Stand Liam The moment she stepped foot through the door, she was on my radar. How could she not be? The woman is absolutely gorgeous. Thick, inky black hair and a sweetly curved body. Although I have to admit, this hole-in-the-wall dive bar doesn't exactly seem like her scene. For one, she's wearing too much clothing. Two, she's shooting down every guy that sniffs around her table like it's her sole mission in life. Casualties are scattered across the beer-stained floor as we speak. And three, my guess is that she's a little older than the usual college-aged crowd that hangs out here looking for a hookup to stumble home with at the end of the night. After a careful assessment of the situation, my current plan of action is to keep my sights firmly locked on the target as I bide my time nursing a beer. Luckily, it doesn't take long for some drunken idiot to give me the perfect opportunity to step in and run interference. If You Were Mine Know what happens when you don’t bother dating all through college because you’re much too busy trying to stay on top of your classes? I’ll give you a little hint… It starts with the letter V and ends with irginity. Ding, ding, ding… nailed it. Well… at least something got nailed. Because it certainly wasn’t me. Just to be clear, it’s not like I’ve been holding out all these years, waiting around for Mr. Perfect to ride in and sweep me off my feet. Nor did I take a sacred vow of chastity. It just kind of happened…or didn’t happen, as the case may be. Know what’s even worse than that? Wait for it… Having the bad boy of the NFL, who also happens to be one of my brother’s teammates, offer to take care of that pesky little problem for me. Which is downright laughable, because if there’s one person I’m barely able to tolerate- it’s JT Higgins. He may be amazing out on the field, but he’s even more notorious for his bar brawls, drunken antics, and the women who flock to him in droves. It goes without saying that he’s keeping some clinic in business with swab tests and penicillin. I’ve had three long years of practice shutting down his every advance. So ignoring him should be a piece of cake, right? Wrong. ----- King of Campus “I loved the chemistry between Roan and Ivy. Ban Bak" is a definitive study of the discovery and destruction of a secret Laotian logistics complex on the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Forward Air Controllers observed suspicious activity near the Ban Bak river crossing. CHECO reports of the ""COVEY Bomb Dump"" were flawed, but COVEY 257/Gary Beard corrects the record with first-person accounts by participants. Additional information, both historical and fictional, is provided by veteran authors whose writings lend both resource and context. Ban Bak is third of three FAC related volumes associated with FACs in the Vietnam War (Cleared Hot Vol. I and Cleared Hot Vol. II). BAN BAK extends these accounts by including tributes to fallen FACs, a Time-Line of Forward Air Controllers in history, an Lexicon of FAC Terms and Information, a classified report on "COMBAT INK" surveillance methods, and an extensive bibliography of FAC related literature and sources useful to all readers of Vietnam history. Ban Bak is 474 pages long, A4 format, in soft binding only
