Title 24 presents regulations governing housing and urban development as set forth by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation. Topics covered include: fair housing; mortgage and loan insurance programs; and slum clearance and urban renewal. Additions and revisions to this section of the code are posted annually by April. Publication follows within six months.
Title 24-HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT is composed of five volumes. The first four volumes containing parts 0-199, parts 200-499, parts 500-699, parts 700- 1699, represent the regulations of the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The fifth volume, containing part 1700 to end, continues with regulations of the Department of Housing and Urban Development and also includes regulations of the Board of Directors of the Hope for Homeowners Program, and the Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation. The contents of these volumes represent all current regulations codified under this title of the CFR as of April 1, 2017.
